A Little About the Owner

Owner and founder, Don Wachter established A to Z Transmissions and Automotive in 1998. After venturing into the auto repair business in 1971, courtesy of his father who was involved in this industry most of his life, he opened his first shop in 1984 in the city of Van Nuys. He grew the business to extend its services for all of the major local dealerships including Keyes Mazda, Toyota, Lexus, Galpin Ford, Miller Nissan and vehicles from other major organizations including Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, LA County Sherriff’s Department, Laidlaw, Val Trans, NBC, CBS and even some celebrities including Tim Allen. The shop was eventually sold to his brother and Don ended up opening A to Z Transmissions and Automotive here in Santa Clarita and has happily served the Santa Clarita community since.

A Little About the Shop

A to Z Transmissions and Automotive has been around since 1998 and thanks to all of you, we have been voted Santa Clarita's #1 auto repair and service for the last 8 years! We are AAA approved and ASE certified so you know you are in the hands of professionals. We have friendly service and our staff is always available to answer any questions.

As our name implies, our shop handles virtually all auto repair services. From transmissions, engines and rear ends to cooling systems, timing belts and windows and a whole lot more!
