I have been coming to A-Z transmission for the past two years and I am very well satisfied with their services they are always good and give me their 100 percent work completion on time!

I have taken my car to A to Z three times since December of 2011: once for a major transmission overhaul, once for a 100,000 mile servicing, and once for brake service. All three services were performed at or below the estimated prices. They promptly phoned me regarding any unexpected issues which were discovered during servicing, and provided me with clear and reasonable options for dealing with them.

For example, in the case of the transmission service my car required, I had already taken it to the dealer as well as another independent transmission shop for diagnosis. Both claimed it would cost more than $1700 to repair the transmission. I told this to the guys at A to Z and they said they would look at it and let me know. About a half hour later, they told me that they had successfully diagnosed the problem as a computer issue, not a mechanical one, and that it would only cost about $350 to fix the problem.

A to Z performed all three services within the time frame promised. My car has performed flawlessly following each one. I have owned six cars in fifty years. I attribute this to having had them all serviced by honest, informed and experienced technicians. I have had my share of disappointing experiences, but the majority of those occurred when traveling out of the area and time and available resources were limited.

I chose to go to A to Z because I obtained first hand recommendations from former customers as well as from other automotive service providers. I am completely satisfied with A to Z and highly recommend them.

I always get fast friendly service. Never high pressure to get repairs, just the facts about what needs to be done.

I am one of those girls that doesn't know a lot about cars. So when it comes to having repairs done on my car, having a good mechanic in the neighborhood is a great thing and the guys from A to Z Transmission and Automotive are just that! I recently had my transmission serviced and an oil change done on my 2004 Honda Civic, they did a great job and their prices were very reasonable. I especially liked that they dropped me off and picked me up when my car was ready, that was awesome.

If this shop gave away free repairs you wouldn't hear a peep out these people.. I don't hear any of these so called customers complaining to Saudia Arabia about the price of gas... Or complaining to TG Lee about the rising cost of milk.... Any unforseen expense sucks.... Just deal with it! these guys did good work on my BMW at a fair price so...I'm just saying...

My 01 Civic experienced transmission failure at about 60,000 miles. A to Z rebuilt it for about half the cost the dealer quoted to replace it. My car is now at 195,000 miles, and the trannie is still working flawlessly. I've been using them for all of the services on my car since then. They're always available when I have a problem, and they make sure the job is done right. If there's a problem afterwards, they're quick to fix it.

This is the first car I've had that will make it past 200,000 miles, and I credit a lot of that to the fine work done by A to Z over the years.

Thank you Phillip for your business we take pride in our work, we are happy when you are happy Thank you again Phillip.

This repair shop is awesome.  I recently had my 1993 Chevy truck in for  transmission repair elsewhere and the problem, (late shifting ), still existed after investing over $1,000.00 to cure.

This other shop then told me the only other fix for this was to completely overhaul the transmission.

I decided to seek out the other shops in the Santa Clarita area and glad I did.  I took my truck to A to Z Transmission and Automotive and after offering me a no charge inspection and road test told me that a simple TV cable adjustment was all I needed.  They adjusted this cable and now my truck shifts perfect.

Thank you A to Z , I will tell all my friends--You Rock!

In today's economy It is hard to find a reliable repair shop for your vehicle.  I am writing this report as a single Mom on a very limited income who has found this "reliable and trustworthy location."

My car's temperature gauge started to read closer into the red as the summer months intensified and I knew I had to get it inspected.  I stopped off at a local repair shop in Santa Clarita who did a brief inspection of my cooling system and advised me that my 2001 Honda Civic with 205k would need major cooling system repair.  I cringed thinking this problem was one of my own design in that I procrastinated for so long to get it inspected.  I thanked the Manager at this location for the free recommendation but informed him that his estimate of $950.21 was way out of my budget at this time.  Discouraged, I vented my concerns to a friend of mine who offered me another option.  She reported that she takes her car to A to Z Transmission and Automotive here locally in Canyon Country and has had great results.  She further informed me that they are a AAA certified shop and are reliable, trustworthy, and accommodating.  I decided to give them a try.

I called A to Z and immediately was told to please bring my vehicle in for a free visual inspection.  Still a little apprehensive, I went in and was greeted by the Manager Richard who was very courteous and reassuring.  He had my vehicle inspected and offered me several options.  Several options, this was wonderful! I now had options in repairing my vehicle!  Richard reported that the technician had verified some of the recommendations of the other shop but the main reason for my temperature  gauge reading high was the result of a bad "coolant temp sensor"  and he could replace it for $75.14. I was astounded.  I respect the other shop for their assessment of my problem but I now distrust them for not telling me the real cause of my problem.  For the consumer, this brings confusion and worse a sense of distrust.  Being a woman who knows little about cars other than to pay the insurance bill and gas the thing, I really felt I finally found a trustworthy and honest repair facility.

I had my car repaired at A to Z and the temperature gauge now reads as it should.  Richard and I have made a plan to correct the other needed cooling system needs as the budget permits but my main concern was fixed without getting the feeling of being "ripped off."

I commend A to Z and I can see just how they got their AAA certification for this is  no easy task.  As I found out for a shop to be AAA certified, they have to be the best of the best, and go the extra mile for the customer without compromise.  A to Z Transmission and Automotive did just that for me.

For any of you who may have had similar distrustful experiences with other shops or "your Mechanic," give A to Z a try,  you will be impressed and satisfied with their services and pricing.

Woohoo as good as it gets I had my 2004 Lexus at the dealer last week I called Richard at A to Z and he told me he needed to check it  to see what was wrong I told him the dealer said it needed to be replaced Richard told me let us check it out I was Leary but I didn't have $4500.00 to replace the transmission so I took it to Richard at A to Z he told me it was $75.00 to check it but if I had the repairs done there it was free so I told him go ahead the next day a guy name Don called me and said it would be done by the end of the day and the cost was $345.00 plus tax,  Don said it had a electrical problem I was the happiest person in the whole world thank you so much Richard and Don you guys are great. Sorry I'm not the best writer but I had to let people know about this place they are great.

I needed an oil change and my radiator needed to be checked out because of a coolant smell in the car. I figured I had a small leak or just needed a radiator flush and called and received quotes from several dealerships including a friend's shop.  Surprisingly,  the call to A to Z and resulted in a quote that was significantly less.

I drove down and had Rich, the shop manager inspect the car and he suggested a radiator flush and informed me that it would take a little over an hour.  He also took the time to explain the differences in coolants which I knew nothing about.  I had no ride so I ended up waiting in their lobby.  To my surprise, they finished the job in 40 minutes and there were plenty of other cars there.  Rich simply indicated that since I was waiting, they decided to get mine done right away.  Wow.  What service and their price was way less than what was quoted.  I seriously saved over $50 here.

My Baby Sounds Amazing

This review is much delayed and definitely well deserved! A to Z worked on the flush pipe for my baby a couple of weeks ago when it was starting to sound terrible. I am real hesitant to take her to anybody new since she has had some aftermarket works done to it. I heard about them from a friend after moving to the city last year and taking her there is the best decision I made! I wish I could've found out about them sooner! They're real friendly, professional and LOVES what they're doing. They are also very honest with the price! On top of all these, my baby sounds AMAZING now and runs so smoothly! I will be taking my baby there from now on and recommending A-Z Transmissions to everyone I know! =)

They Care About Your Safety

A-Z Transmissions cares about more than your transmission, they care about your safety and the safety of those who ride in your vehicle. I use them for all my car maintenance and repair (Tahoe and Prius) and find them to be diligent in attending to the primary reason for the visit and very effective at find issue that I may want to address in the future (without any pressure tactics).

A to Z is the Shop to Be!

I've found the transmission shop we will never hope to need, but if you do, A to Z is the place to have your transmission worked on. I brought my Toyota 4runner here for them to do a rebuild and they did an excellent job and saved me hundreds from the stealership. Since then, I've put on more than 60k miles on my transmission and its been like new still! All their work do come with a warranty and the techs are nice guys too. I've taken my both my 4runner and Silverado here for work and have always left knowing that all my gears will shift nice and smooth. So if your looking for a transmission repair shop, A to Z is the shop to be!

One of the Last Honest Repair Shops

What can I say about A to Z!!! They are awesome and honest ...things you don't see nowadays in the automotive repair biz. Our shop had someone else rebuild a c4 automatic from a classic 66 ford mustang that we had pulled out for a customer. Unfortunately it did not work after we installed it. A to Z was right there to fix everything. They p/u the car pulled the trans for inspection and determined that the case was bad. The crew kept us informed the whole way through. A to Z is one of the last honest repair shops in the area. I would highly recommend them for transmission and general repair.

After 20 years of service they are still great.

I have been a customer of A To Z Transmission & Automotive for a very long time. My husband and I started using them in probably 1990. I am still one of their customers. I bought a new car because I was in an accident in January and my car was totaled.

The dealer has been doing a lot of the work because it is under warranty, but any related work that I have, I will go to A To Z. Their work has always been fine. I recommend them highly. We have been dealing with them for 20 years, and they are great.

A To Z Transmission & Automotive is honest, professional and reasonably priced.

Basically, I think that A To Z Transmission & Automotive is really professional. I've been going there for over a year now and I like that I can go in and tell them what I think is going on and they take the car in and verify what the issue is. They give me a quote for the initial problem, but they also give a list of issues to be addressed, but they're not pushy. They just let you know what's most important to what can be put off indefinitely.

They are cognitive to the fact that not everyone is made of money or has piles of dollars to spend, so they let you know what's most important to fix first. I am knowledgeable about cars, but they still take time to explain what's going on with my car. I feel they are very honest.

You are in good hands with A To Z Transmission.

I have used A To Z Transmission & Automotive since 2000. I got a referral from a customer of theirs who lives in my neighborhood. He said he went in there for a leak in his engine, and they let him know it was just a drain plug. It could have been passed off as a major repair. They are very honest. They have a logo on everything that says, "Finally, an honest mechanic," and I believe them.

I have 5 cars with them, with my sons and daughter driving too, and they have all our records. They keep up on everything and let us know what we should do. They don't cut corners or play games. They only push what really needs to happen. They will tell me what really needs to be fixed, and they treat our cars like their own cars. I have had really good experiences with them.

They have done some major repairs for me and almost all our maintenance. They know what they are doing. There is no doubt in my mind about that. I can take my car to them and know that I just need to write them a check and drive home. The car will be fine. They are very thorough, and they will find things you didn't know about and let you know. You can trust them. Put your car in their hands, and they will fix it. You will be in good hands.

Good, honest, local mechanic.

I have been taking my cars to A To Z Transmission & Automotive for probably 6 to 8 years and get all my cars serviced with them. I have always been very happy. They are always honest, and they do good work.

They can pretty much get everything done for me. I even had a back latch handle that wasn't working, and, though normally a mechanic wouldn't do anything like that, they fixed it for me. They also do all of my main engine maintenance and repair for the life of my cars.

I have recommended them to several other people and to anyone who asks. They seem to be the good, honest, local mechanic. I trust my vehicles to them and have for many years.
